Dr. Jelson Yalung earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. He then completed a General Practice Residency, providing advanced dental care to patients with severe medical problems in various hospitals throughout Los Angeles. Finding his passion in the specialty of Orthodontics, Dr. Jelson continued on to obtain a Master of Science and Certificate in Orthodontics at Loma Linda University. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a distinction held by less than 35% of the profession, and one that recognizes the doctor’s pursuit of continued clinical excellence and proficiency.
Besides perfecting smiles, Dr. Jelson enjoys exploring new places, learning about different cultures, and outdoor adventures with his wife. He also enjoys open water swimming in the San Francisco Bay, biking, running, and has completed multiple Ironman distance triathlons.
